Halloween with Higher
Education & Warden

Bayou's running the voodoo down this Halloween as we present a double header packed with spooky grooves, monster jams, and enough soulful mojo to get the dead up and dancing. Higher Education and Warden are both locally based power trios playing their own brand of rock and roll music. Warden will be opening the night with a set of tunes inspired by equal parts classic rock and 90s alternative, while Higher Education adds a potent dose of reggae to their live performance.

A founding member of Cowboy Mouth, Sanchez has since struck out on his own, giving a voice to New Orleans through a prolific body of work that manages to chronicle the ups and downs of the city and its citizens. Nice Couch

Nice Couch promises to get you out of your seat and on to to the dance floor with a blend of psychedelic funk, progressive rock and even some punk and metal influences.

Flight School

Funk and rock are the twin jet-engines powering Flightschool through bluesy skies. Buckle up for two sets of inspired originals and cover tunes with a wingspan from the 70s prog of ELO to the more current sounds of the Killers and the Arctic Monkeys.

Matt Jones and the Bobs

Enjoy the brand of contemporary Americana played by bands like the Avett Brothers, Of Monsters and Men, and Mumford and Sons? Then you won't want to miss Matt Jones and the Bobs, southwestern Virginia's answer to the current roots rock revival.

19th Street Band

A trio of classically trained musicians playing an upbeat mix of acoustic bluegrass, country and rock tunes, the 19th Street Band always brings down the house at Bayou.

Turtle Recall

Saturday, November 22nd at 10:30pm

Playing original tunes and a repertoire of covers that ranges from Lead Belly too the Lumineers, Turtle Recall's high energy live performances have a little something for every ear in the room.
